Replacing 9/11 with 1/15 and Bush with Obama

There's something haunting about the wonderful good news of a truly frightening plane crash followed by a perfectly executed rescue effort in the great city of New York on January 15th, a nearly miraculous safe landing by a pilot named Sully, resulting in no fatalities, in that city that endured the disaster of September 11th.

Is it the end of a chapter, the beginning of a new time in our nation, an era of lucky breaks, great skillful teamwork and miraculous events that can breed hope instead of fear?

Can we kick-start a new era of optimism by thinking of the wonder of 1/15, not the dread of 9/11, as we see Bush (and his fearful administration) leave and Obama (and his hopeful team) arrive? Please let me believe that.
