If you've made a resolution to be in better physical shape, take the shortest walk or run, even 15 minutes will get you started. If you've made a resolution to be in better fiscal shape, look at the state of your accounts, just fast, just take a quick financial snapshot of where you are. If you've resolved to fix a broken relationship, call that person, and don't get into a heavy thing ... just wish them a Happy New Year.
Take a tiny bite today. No big deals. Or, if you haven't made any resolutions, think one up.
