Reading: The Audacity of Hope

I'm loving this book, but not loving the fact that it took me so long to get around to reading it. I'm not sure why I was hesitating. I guess I don't trust books by politicians for the most part. Most are written either by someone one other than the politician himself, or written by a team of people, and every now and then, they are actually written by the person who's name is on the cover.

Looks like Obama actually wrote his book. Or more like "sounds like" Obama wrote this book. Books written by a bunch of people never have the voice of a single unique person. You can hear the flatness of the team tone, feeling like a roomful of people were voting on taking out all the really quirky, individual turns of phrases. I love to vote, but not under those circumstances.
