The energy and excitement of the MIT Tech Review Emerging Technology Conference this week in Boston has been a spiritual antidote to the dark and depressing news of the economy coming crashing down around us. I tend to be a half-full glass kindof girl, or as some have said, a glass and a half-full optimist. There's no doubt in my mind that we are at an amazing crossroads with so many energetic, bright, young, not-so-young and older entrepreneurs ready to step into the arena, creating many new green companies, making big strides in biotech, as well as starting a rainbow of other colors of new start-ups, there are just so many exciting areas to explore.
