Word Wonder: The Kitchen Tavle

I really did not believe someone would make a word "TABLE" with that big B stuck in the middle of the word and was sure that the word had to be the far more pronounceable and stream-lined, "TAVLE."

I spent a lot of time as a little girl seriously confused about words. For instance, I knew my fellow humans were surely "human beans" and not "human beings" as you could see from their weirdly shaped jelly-bean like bodies. What the heck was "being" anyway?
