Querida Santa

Is that "Dear Santa" -- my Spanish sucks but when I was in LA, I vaguely remember this was the way we wrote Santa letters.

I taught 1st Grade there and even kids who couldn't write, read or spell a damned thing, miraculously were able to scribble "Nintendo 64" on their lists that year. I remember thinking ... "Hmm, when there's a will (or videogame) there's a way."

I changed my curriculum to include Toys R Us' Christmas Catalogue.
