A friend pointed out that getting my Christmas tree last weekend was VERY EARLY if you were to stick with the German tradition of bringing the tree in on December 24th then taking it down 12 days later.

Still, I love my tree, I love the smell and I'd rather have it here in mid-December leading up to Christmas, than having it hanging around much after Christmas.

I forgot how much I love my Barbie ornaments -- Flame Barbie, Biker Harley Barbie, Bathingsuit Maillot Barbie and sisters of Barbie, Queen Amadala in her fighting whites with machine gun and Marilyn Monroe with the flippy white chiffon dress from "Some Like It Hot" -- wonderful to hang them back up.
