Just A Lovely Day

I spent most of the day on the Charles River, sailing with my new pals, Hamid, Carole and Van. What a blessedly beautiful day.

I spent a good part of the sailing trip trying to scare them into thinking I would blog something wild about them. I was just teasing. They were swell and I couldn't diss them!

We sailed the bigger Sonar boat and then the Mercury too. Just lovely to be out there on the River between MIT and downtown Charles Street T station. The grumbly roar of the Red T line subway as it crosses the Longfellow Bridge heading into town like a metal caterpillar is one nice city background noise.
