CBS Cameraman Injured

I was just getting ready to leave CBS when word came that a cameraman working for CBS or a cameraman from CBS had been injured. I was with my producer friend when a news babe woman ran in and said, "Turn on CNN, a cameraman got shot, I hope it's not ---- (name I don't recall)." She was mentioning someone they both knew.
