Easter Sunday Church

Church will be packed today. Once you belong to a congregation, you see things from "the other side" -- that is, you're a regular and all the people who come to church only on Christmas and Easter seem a little annoying, like the summer people if you're a regular in a Maine Coastal town.

Of course, in our good Christian hearts, we know to welcome the heck out of those "sunshine patriots" -- or what would you call them, "sunshine worshippers" -- but secretly you enjoy Easter as well as you can but then really look forward to a quieter, emptier church next week.
