Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles

No one agrees with me on this (see below), but que sera sera.

The idea that the Archbishop of Canterbury has blessed the union is laughable -- the whole point of the Church of England was setting up a pope-less church okay with the idea of Henry VIII marrying HIS mistress. How could they NOT agree with Charles and Camilla's marriage?

It's like asking McDonald's whether they might or might not bless french fries.

[WRONG HERE! A reader corrects me on my MISTATEMENT above about the Church of England, "Actually Henry VIII set up the C of E to be able to get a divorce. The C of E will not perform a marriage ceremony if you have been divorced, but will bless the union.]
