Just Songs On The Radio

I like listening to popular songs on the radio, just dumb pop stuff and hip-hop and goofy oldies stations, as I'm driving here and there.

I like singing along. I like my kid explaining with endless detail what he thinks the lyrics mean.

I like the stupid stuff the DJ's tell you -- facts about different singers' affairs and heartaches -- stuff that serves no purpose whatsoever but gets you through a lousy commute, or a serious patch of bad weather.

I like listening to music -- just songs on the radio.
