Charlie Rose Meets The Bloggers

Charlie Rose interviewed Glenn Reynolds (Instapundit), Andrew Sullivan, Anna Marie Cox (Wonkette) and Joe Trippi today (actually it aired last night first).

They had lots of great things to say.

I still think no one has really described the deep, complicated, social structure of the blogosphere, something Scoble and I talked about in detail when I was in Seattle.

We are all connected by friendships, work relationships, conference experiences, birthdays, whirlwind tours of countries far and near, affairs of the heart, academic alliances, IRC chatroom bull sessions -- so many ways. The way we care about one another and the day-to-day connections bloggers make are really fertile ground for a good anthropologist.
