Jon Stewart On Crossfire

This afternoon Jon Stewart (nee the Daily Show) was on Crossfire and was really kicking their asses by being ... ready ... TRUTHFUL and deadpan honest about the fact that they drag us citizens and voters down Spin Alley which he called Deception Lane and how irresponsible that was.

Every time Tucker Carlson in his bowtie tried to get Jon "to be his monkey" and be funny, Stewart would simply tell the god honest truth and say that they were ... "what's the word ... oh yeah, political hacks" and it was really something to see.

Carlson looked pretty pissed off at one point and served up a commercial to shut up Stewart.

As funny as Jon Stewart can be, he's even more incredible when he's being seriously serious and not funny and demanding that their phony debate format actually BE A DEBATE and inform voters of real issues. I can't believe they didn't give him the hook earlier in the program.
