Day At The Beach

Spent the day at the beach which I think is even more lovely in autumn than in summer. The leaves are really in full color now, so the drive up North was great and they get big points for doing their swirly leaf cha-cha dance lately. Big tumbling whirls of silly flirty leaves coming at you from all directions.

Weather was odd early with grey grumbly morning clouds (perfect for church) which turned into a sharply sunny late afternoon. A Sunday with another Sunday tomorrow -- that is, a holiday weekend Monday -- really does let you linger.
