Life/Work Balance: Great Jobs For Great Moms

I've been talking to a friend about great jobs that let you balance work and family. I'm always on the lookout for them. The ideal job requires the least amount of work time, the highest pay and the most time to be with friends, lovers, family.

I mentioned a favorite scene from La Femme Nikita -- go rent it if you haven't seen it.

Nikita has a great gig -- she's a hired assassin in really sexy outfits. Lots of free time, occasional weekend work.

In one scene, she's having a romantic weekend in a bed and breakfast and goes into the bathroom to "slip into something more comfortable" while her lover waits in the bedroom. She takes a bit more time than usual, because she's also wacking a bad guy down on the street below through the window -- getting him lined up in her cross-hairs, assassinating him and then straightening her make-up and negligee before she heads back to the four-poster bed. All in a day's work.

Now that's work/life balance.
