Referrer Log Jam

In our site meter, there's a set of data called the "Referrer Log" and that means where your users came from right before they came to your blog.

In the old days, a lot of the referrer traffic was from other bloggers and friends. These days, there is massive referrer traffic from search engines.

Yep, you have Yahoo, MSN Search, Google, Lycos, etc. I don't think we figured ten years after the early search engines were wowing us (Alta Vista, Lycos, Yahoo), we're now into a search-all-the-time mode. And the search experts say this is just the beginning of search!
