No Money In San Jose?

I find it unimaginable that the San Jose Young People's Theatre Group can't find support and funding to continue their program. With the wall-to-wall VC's around there and brilliant creatives like the Apple and Pixar people, and then you have Mr. Media himself at Yahoo, Terry Semel. What gives?

There are great videos on this link of the kids asking for funding. I hope they are doing something like Robin Hood as a current production, since they seem to be all entwined in green leaves that are snaking eagerly around their little bodies and wearing pointy felt hats.
