Merci Beaucoup, Mlle. Sweeney

By the way, the sultry Mlle. Sweeney, my first French teacher in Greenwich, CT got married and became the demure Mme. Chute. I remember thinking this was some how related to Chutes and Ladders and even then I suspected getting married was some manner of falling from grace.

Anyway, thank you Mlle. Sweeney for helping me fall in love with French. It's been a lifetime pleasure to know another language.
